Another common problem that Streamyx customer usually facing.
How can this happen? How to overcome this problem? Why this thing occur?
- Check back your username is it being put username@streamyx and not username@streamyx.com
- Check back your password is it the same
- Try to remove back the dialer that previously you used
- Re-create back the dialer.
- Try again to login using your login id username@streamyx and your password
- If unsuccessful, go to Network Connection at Control Panel
- Right click at your LAN, and click Properties
- At General Tab, double click at Internet Protocol TCP/IP
- Make sure that all the data is blank
- If still unsuccessful, please do call Streamyx Helpdesk and request them to check if your login ID is connected or not (hang session)
- If found that the session hang, please request them to delete the session
- If there is no session found, please request them to check back your password, is it the same or not. And probably you need them to reset back you password then later you can change it to a new one

PS: If all this step you have done but the problem still error 691, ask them to check is there any outage of BRAS or RADIUS at your place.

sometimes it wont give you error 691 but 718 but the symptom is same. But 718 is more to server problem.
if error 718 occurs, just retype the username and password and try to connect a few times.. normally its work for me

Q: i have streamyx connection, now i buy aztech wireless broadband router. I intend to do wireless connection so i can use my laptop & pda. I try to set it but fail. so i need your advice how to wireless it. TQ very much

error 691 also occur if you’re already connected to the Internet.
wireless connection means you need to use auto-connection.
when you want to connected using a dial up, the connection is already up so that’s why it come out error 691.
