BiPAC 5112S – ADSL Modem/Router
First thing first!!!
Please check your modem IP is it under 192.168.x.x or 169.x.x.x. How to do check?
Go to Run or use (Windows Logo + R), then key in cmd. Then type ipconfig. Try to find you IP address. If your IP is 169.x.x.x, kindly change your Network Card IP manually to 192.168.1.2.
Factory Default Settings
Login Username/Password:
a) Administrator (admin/password)
b) User (User/password)
Bridged Mode:
Pure Bridged LLC (RFC 1483 Bridged, LLC)
PCI/VCI: 0/35
Default IP: 192.168.1.254
DHCP Server: Enabled
NAT: Disabled
Hey guys, I am new here and I need your guys help. I am using Bipac 5112s and using bridge mode. Recently, I can’t surf the net even though the connection is fine according to the TM technician. I have tried all the troubleshoot that TM help desk provided.Whenever I open the browser,error:host not accessible always come out. The technician told me that something is wrong with the windows settings. But I can’t seem to figure it out what is the problem. Can you guys help?

how do you define “connection is fine according to the TM technician”. is technician check using their own laptop or not?
do you use open proxy?
is it auto or manual connection?
Kalo nak connect to D-Link Wireless AP camne lak configuration dia. Kena disable DHCP kat wirelss AP tu ke?? Setting semua sama ke?

my modem is manual dial up connection. recently i bought a switch so my sister and me can online at the same time. but the switch seems like not working with the billion modem.
can any one give some advice?

Ok, no skills required. Do remember to reset the button, behind your ADSL to get it ready if it was altered. It’s a small hole you cant miss it
1. Log in to 192.168.1.254 and input username as admin and password as password.
2. No secret, go to Quick Start and go next till you see a question asking you if you want to brigde the connection, or PPoE as normally DSL users do. Pick the PPoE and you’ll be asked for you TM ID and user. Remember TM ID is ended with a @streamyx, not @streamyx.com.
3. Go till the end and save it. And plug the end cable from the ADSL to a switch. Remember to use only patch cable. There you have it, a shared internet line.
If you want to see what you did and whether your connection is an auto connection, go to the main page of the setting at Interface setup > Internet. As default setting it is. And no hassle for advance setup, you are ready to share your internet with anyone via switch and even to plug-in a wireless G router, remember to plug the patch cable at other port besides “Internet” labeled port. There are numbers of port behind the wireless router and you wont miss the one labeled internet.

- did u check ur PC IP? u need to have the same range IP as billion for you to login to 192.168.1.254.
- how to do that? do the ipconfig/all. and if our PC IP is not the same, please do change it at LAN Connection.
but i still cant connect to internet after reset my password…can write the steps for me again?? thank you…
