Saya memohon bantuan teknikal perihal masalah nak setting wireless network. Problem nya:
Wireless connection connected with strong signal tapi bila browse website pop error “page cannot be display”.
Saya link can modem billion (TM) ke wireless router saya melalui LAN cable. Router saya jenama Aztech Broadband Router model WL830RT4.
Saya try to open website 192.168.1.1 tapi tak boleh open error “page cannot display”.
“Wireless connection connected” does not mean that your already connected to the internet. If your using Microsoft Windows Vista it need to show Local and Internet. If your trying to open page 192.168.1.1 and shows “page cannot display”, it certainly have some issue. Please check back your basic network. If your connected using your Aztech modem, please do run command prompt and type ipconfig /all. Is your gateway IP is the same as your computer IP? If your computer IP start with 192.x.x.x, your Aztech also need to start at 192.x.x.x. But if it’s not the same you need to manual change your computer IP to sync with the IP of your Aztech modem, e.g Aztech IP 10.0.0.1 so your computer IP should change to 10.0.0.2.

- this does not mean that your already connected to the internet. If your using VISTA it need to show Local and Internet.
2. If your trying to open page 192.168.1.1 but it’s did show “page cannot display” might lead to some issue.
2.1 Please check back your basic network. If your connected using your aztech modem, please do run command prompt and type ipconfig /all . Check you default gateway IP, is it the same as your computer IP? If your computer IP start with 192.x.x.x, your Aztech also need to start at 192.x.x.x . But if it’s not the same you need to manual change your computer IP to sync with the IP of your Aztech modem. Ex : Aztech IP 10.0.0.2 so your Computer IP should change to 10.0.0.3

The problem is you have to connect directly to your modem not through your Aztech router. Connect directly via LAN cable and open 192.168.1.1
