scenario 1)
i am using streamyx RM77 sebulan punya… my problem is my adsl light keep blinking… sometimes can connect.. sometimes cannot connect… when can connect… the adsl light in the modem stable la.. no blinking… problem is… i receive error 678… so i think the tmnet punya server problem la.. but the problem is… it keep repeting every 30minute to 1 hour… i already check my modem.. modem cable… everything la… pc also check… network card also ok… but this problem repeating… so i want to ask you.. can you give me some advice on what to do about this?

actually this is not a problem la.. but since u know about koneksen (connections)… i want to ask you… what is the difference between 3.6mbps and 100mps.. because there is this package from celcom broadband access charge monthly RM98 but connection is only 3.6mbps but streamyx rm77 can get 100mbps… but they are using 3G for connection… ala simple… nak tau yang mana best? ni link package dia orang http://www.celcom.com.my/cep/xresources/CelcomCORP/promotions/celcom/the-celcom-sale/index.html?goto=packages

cara nak selesaikan ialah ko gi tempat penyambung antara line luar ngan line rumah ,maybe dia berkarat,jd ko potong yg berkarat tu,ko sambung balik

this is my answer hopefully it could solve the issue.
Problem <1>
this what we call frequent disconnection issue.
please do check your internal wiring whereby if it too old or never been replace before this it could majorly lead to this problem because it unable to split the voice and data “seimbang”.
Problem <2>
the difference between 100mbps and 3.6 Mbps….
100mbps you only see when your LAN connected and it’s not the speed of Streamyx that you subscribe. It’s only the speed of your network card communicating to your modem.
3.6 Mbps from celcom is the highest speed you could get from the services. but to get it 3.6mbps is depend on your location.
* if your in dilemma.. nak tau yg mana best.. all of it are using Telekom equipment as their topology. Kalo u rasa ur not always at home u can subscribe to Celcom la.. if not just stick with Streamyx..they also have HOTSPOT.. hehe

I m subscribing broadband 4meg streamyx. For the first month it’s run ok. But since last 2 weeks the speed go down to 1.7meg top. I m using BILLION modem router (supplied by TM) and D-Link wireless router. Do I need to use ADSL2+2 router to get 4meg speed? Please help me on this.
I always get disconnected every few SECONDS!! The disconnection started to occur after i change my house phone. I changed it from a normal phone to a portable wireless phone. When i use the wireless phone, whenever i answer a call, i get disconnnected. SO i decided to change it back and now its the problem with FREQUENT DISCONNECTION
the syntoms are, LAN(the second light) blinking
noisy telephone line
frequent disconnection (10-20)
while typing this i disconnected again.
10-20 seconds once disconnection is just stupid.. if anyone can help me.. pls contact my email tommyrulezdaworld_93@hotmail.com

I have 2 Streamyx account(Home Prepaid RM84 unlimited).
One account in Membakut,Sabah(rural/remote area), another account in Kota Kinabalu.The BIG question is:
WHY MY STREAMYX IN RURAL AREA IS FAST, AND WHY MY STREAMYX IN KOTA KINABALU IS TOO SLOW?
I got myself a combo streamyx 1mbps package in few days back..the problem is i cant surf the internet! when i check on the network connection it shows connected..so i try to figure out myself whats the problem..but until 2day im still blank!
I do called TM technical line for help n they ask me to do this n that but still cannot n i even replace the old Riger DB102 modem i got b4 with a new 1 today but problem still the same! All the light is on & stable..Power, Link & PC..but still cant use internet! So 2nite i’ve asked my fren 2 borrow his modem to test on my pc..he uses TP-link..n amazingly i simply can use the internet n surf the web!! Just plug n surf.
Damn!! why so easy this time? is it sumthing got 2 do with that Riger modem? do i have 2 replace the Riger modem with other brand? or is there any setting i have 2 configure out 2 use the Riger modem? For a noobyz lyk me..an opinion is really a big help n much appreciated!! cheers

the riger that u have is using the wireless technologies.
the main thing is all your pc need to have the wireless adapter so it can connected to the internet via wireless.
no need to buy a network card or LAN cable.
it easy and it’s the same thing like you use HOTSPOT.

LAN status represent NIC data speed to the modem only. That’s why you can see 100.0Mbps
Can i know your current package? if it 384 then your speed should get more than 80% of the speed.

how to check the subscription of the streamyx combo????
Situation: I am an active streamyx user at my hometown. It is not the Streamyx combo package.
Problem: I now live at PJ for a few days a week. My parents at home are using the internet as well.
Question: If I upgrade to streamyx combo mobile, is it possible for me and my parents to use the internet at 2 different locations? I will be using it at PJ while my parents use it in my hometown. Is it possible? Thanks in advance….

1. you need to have a modem router wireless such as dlink..tplink..
how to setup:
[wall socket] > [phone cable]>[modem] make it as a bridge modem >[modem router wireless] make it as auto-connection >[pc]

just put it away from any electrical device and in a cool place.
some modem can support if you turn it on 24-7 and depends on the brand itself.
but if your one is “cap ayam” so my advice, please turn it off if u did not use it.
